Location, free wireless, nice loby
Room needs renovtion, very very noisy (i could hear very step and every door on the hallway).
Nothing much good about the hotel except the location. I would never recommend it to anyone at all. There are many other hotels around aprt from Kinissi.
The hotel facilities are all old and run down. The carpet was too old that one could hardly even see the design printed on it due to fading. The beds are all too old that one could feel the springs in them. Towels were all well used too. But most disappointing was the big lady at the reception. She was always grumpy, and didn't want to answer much on any question. No help at all for a tourist who needed so much help. Our train didn't leave till late in the afternoon, and we stayed on the hotel lobby for few hours. All those time she was starring at us, as if we were homeless. What a mean attitude. I wonder...is that being Greek?? Thessaloniki itself was a beautiful city, apart from the disappointment with the hotel & reception lady.
The hotel is centrally located and near to the bus routes that head to the main bus stations. I caught the bus outside which took me direct to the bus station for Halkidiki. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, room was clean, modern and tidyand the breakfast was exceptionally good. As a frequent traveller I would definately give this hotel the thumbs up, highly recommended.
The bedroom was big and comfortable. Breakfast was good.
In the lobby of the hotel they refused to switch-on the air-condition, because they said they had specific instructions from the management of the hotel. I met a lot of business people there, and the heat was very often unbearable!
Hotel was average... Good location. Room was abit small, some staff were helpful, others not so nice.
Wifi worked when it wanted to. We basically had to go into the reception lobby area for a good connection.
The bathroom is too old, as the hotel (shower extremily small!) Is not a 4* hotel as the web says. Really s a 2* or 3* but never 4, but if you don't pay so much for your room, it's ok.
The position of the hotel is good, rooms are fine (it is preferable to ask for the rooms facing the Sygrou street)
The hotel has the central air condition system and the flow rate of cold air is poor. Due to an early flight, we didn't get anything for the breakfast (which was included in price).
staff were friendly, excellent breakfast, the room was quiet, facing the back, big balcony
the spa center was supposed to be open Mon-Sat but that Mon they were closed for some reason
My room was very big and I had a nice balcony overlooking the street, it was also in walking distance to all the important sites in thessaloniki.
The hotel bar had a very helpful waiter.
Where do I start? The lady at the front desk was rude in the extreme, gave me a proof of payment for only one room even though I paid for two rooms. When I pointed it out to her she was reluctant but provided the paper in the end. The rooms are matchbox sized. the bathrooms are dirty and small in the extreme. There is no "view" no matter where in the hotel you're staying. Carpet eaten by moths in the first room we had (we asked for a change of rooms) - towels, even if clean, were very old and threadbare....
Everithing was great,especialy stuff!
I always stay at Kinissi Palace
The staff where helpful and friendly. Breakfast okay. Clean and spacious room.
The carpet was disgusting stained and faded in spots. The bathroom was ridiculous. The shower got everything wet and the floor was tile and dangerous when wet. The bed was uncomfortable. The air-conditioning barely worked. We had an adjoining room and asked for non-smoking and the next room had a smoker who smoked late at night filling our room with smoke. This is not a 3 star hotel it is very run down. It was hard to sleep because of all the street noise. We had power failures three times for quite long periods. The breakfast was supposed to go till 10:30 but by 9:00 many trays were empty. Fruit was bruised and old.
Hotel was good, enough breakfast, good position in center of city, clean, but 2-3 stars hotel not 4 stars as shown on official site
